Portals

The line between portals and CMS:es are somewhat floating, depending on what kind of functionality has been developed and what each platform focuses on. Portals often focus on role based content and interaction whereas CMS focus on rich content websites making it easy for editorial staff to manage the rich content.

As one of the largest players in open source ECM in the Nordic countries we have come in contact with Liferay portal solutions where we have helped customers implementing portal functionality, and we recently became a official partner to Liferay. We have helped customers like Västra Götalands Regionen (VGR) and Uppsala University to implemented portal functionality for intranet applications.
