Expert CONSULTING 

In order to boost customers' confidence in their choice of JBoss community project, Redpill Linpro supplies a number of specialist consulting services, which for example may encompass architecture and design reviews, performance and availability optimisation, reviews of security, integration with third-party software, etc. 
Within the framework of expert consulting, we also offer something that we call JMEN, which is a dedicated JBoss community project consultant who is available on-site during the design, development, construction or migration phase as well as during the operation and administration phase. Our consultant has extensive competence in the products included in the JBoss community project family and can be utilised for resolving specific tasks, transferring knowledge (mentorship) and creating routines involving development, test, production, and administration.

After carrying out a migration, many maintain that better service and better products are also compelling reasons for migration to JBoss community project.

 Before migration, a short preliminary study is carried out (2-3 days) in which, on the basis of Redpill Linpro’s proven methodology, precise migration preconditions are reviewed. Redpill Linpro’s consultants then deliver a complete decision-making basis for the migration, which shows a detailed plan of action, what the migration will affect, and what one can do to reinforce positive and eliminate negative effects. The decision-making basis also often includes an ROI calculation.

The migration work can be carried out by Redpill Linpro’s consultants and internal resources, or some combination thereof. Migration work itself is often a relatively limited effort. A modern, standards-base application seldom takes more than 10 days to complete with respect to the technical migration.
